Moons

The three moons of Terrinor are named Galemon, Keror, and Yuzla. All three of the moons around Terrinor go through phases, like the moon around Earth does.

All phases start with the adjective "waxing" (meaning increase) as they flow into the full phase. After the full moon phase passes, it will start with the adjective "waning" (meaning decrease). Crescent is when there is only a small portion of the moon remaining and gibbous is when it's almost full.

Galemon

Galemon is a pale yellow moon, almost cream colored. It is large and bright, providing a lot of light at night time when it is full. Galemon appears to be about 3 times the size of the smallest moon, Yuzla.
It takes Galemon a little more than a month to pass through all of its phases.
Galemon has two visible markings on its surface. The first is located on the upper half of Galemon, and is commonly referred to as "Galemon's Star", because that's what it resembles - an irregular 5 pointed star, slightly more yellow than most of Galemon's surface. The second is a small greyish blotch on its lower right section, which stands out in stark contrast to the surrounding color.

Keror

Keror is somewhat between Galemon and Yuzla in size and has a slight blue tint. While it provides less light than Galemon, it provides more than Yuzla, and of a less ominous shade. Keror takes the longest of all to pass through all of its phases, but because of this it is seen as a good omen if an important event coincides with Keror's full moon.
Keror has many small markings visible on its surface, all of them tiny darker blue dots. It also bears one large marking, a blue-white ribbon along its bottom edge.

Yuzla

Yuzla is the smallest moon circling Terrinor. It circles exactly once per week. The week and month are in fact, defined by the cycles of Yuzla. One month is three full rotations of Yuzla.
Yuzla is small and light red. It does not give off as much light as the other two moons, but when it is the only moon in the sky, the entire landscape glows an eerie red.
Yuzla has only one visible feature on its surface, a thin, dark red line that snakes from its upper right edge towards its center, then to the left, fading out about half of the way from the center to the left edge.
Some think that the Yuzla moon brings out evil. When Yuzla is full and Galemon is not in the sky, often there coincides murderous events all across Terrinor. Occasionally, stories circulate after this occurs that the dark red line on Yuzla's surface was seen to writhe like a serpent as the moon's evil influence caused each destructive event. Most dismiss these tales as drunken superstition, but that doesn't stop them from spreading again each time.
