So often we get wrapped up in what 'could be' that we forget to stop and appreciate people for 'what is' and the efforts applied to keep 'what is' going.  
 
The job of creator (specifically) is very much a thankless job.  You work all day to try and motivate players (and perhaps other staff members) to help progress the game in positive ways and all you get is resistance.  I believe this is one of the main reasons that Xotl retired himself in the first place.  It’s very easy to adopt a “why bother” perspective and I understand why.  
 
I just want to thank all of the AL staff for their time and patience with the influxes of this game.  I understand that people are challenging.  Not everyone is as diplomatic, understanding and appreciative as they should be (in fact just about everyone is not to include myself).  
 
Thank you again, so much, for keeping us alive.  Your efforts are noticed.
